About Moi!

Living in one of the greatest cities in the world, Melbourne, means that one will get lots of great food and wine. The availability of good fresh produce in a diverse cultural melting pot results in awesome food experiences.

I’m on a quest to find the perfect corn fritter, har gow (prawn dumpling) and bowl of ramen. I have many great loves, such as a hot bowl of laksa, a good steak accompanied by onion rings, and fresh piece of sushi.

My other love is anything French – the country, Paris, the food, the language, the people, the dogs.   I’ve been to Paris and France a few times, and have almost hit up every region.  I am also currently taking French lessons for when I retire to the Cote d’Azur (French Riviera).

Besides this love of food and all things French, I have a wonderful husband who indulges me, three dogs that I adore, a crazy sister (and brother in law) who cook excellent meals for me, and fabulous family and friends.

All this adds up to one lucky lady, who loves food and life!

If you’d like to shoot me an email to talk food, ask for advice or make a suggestion on where to eat/how to improve/be more French, feel free to drop me a line at 15000kms@gmail.com

Hope you enjoy my food stories! xo

  1. Jamie! This is amazing…I can’t believe how much you’ve written on all these restaurants all over the globe! Why don’t you add some for KL and places in Malaysia? Do it!
I’m so glad we met… I’m going to check with you when I need recommendations for a city you’ve been to.
